TWEED WEDDING TRIAL SUMMER 2024

IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW!

Recently I had the absolute pleasure to partner up with the wedding company 'Tweed Coast Weddings', and they have a beautiful selection of wedding venues and vendors to help our future Mr & Mrs make their wedding day as smooth and streamlined as possible.

In Jan they put on their annual summer 'Tweed Wedding Trail' which showcases not only all their venues but also allows vendors such as much self to showcase our talents.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to not one but two venues on the day. I had to enlist the help of my mum - also a very important face in the emilyybakes kitchen (she helps with deliveries and most the time if I'm at work shell be there for you pick up) and good friend Ella to help man the testers table and direct all your enquiries to me.

The day started early, were Gold Coast based and travelled down to tweed for our first venue Osteria, a beautiful little hidden gem along the coast. You enter a beautiful almost vineyard like garden. Walking through the garden towards a stunning modern rustic barn filled with fairly lights. Truly such a vision!

They have a gentlemans' retreat, ample of space to sit down and take the day in and most importantly a beautiful big bar to ensure you never go thirsty.

We set up the table full of emilyybakes testers and got to meet so many other wonderful vendors, check out the venue little secret spots before our future couples filled the room. Once set up, I knew they wold be in Mum & Ellas capable hands so off I went to my next venue.

My next stop was Fins at Plantation House, which is a stunning old Queenslander house they have renovated into a picturesque wedding venue that you can only dream of!

From the view from the front lawn where you can watch the sun disappear behind the mountains, to their bridal suite upstairs for that mini escape and their wonderful green garden terrace space that even Alice in wonderland would love to get lost amongst.

Being my first trial I was super nervous as I didn't know what to expect from the day but the other 'seasoned' vendors made me feel so at home with their friendly advice and welcoming arms.

Meeting all of the bride and grooms to be for '24/'25 was the major highlight of my day. Speaking to each couple about their visions and dreams gave me the biggest rush of serotonin. Also to meet the faces of couples I had spoken to behind the keyboard was the cherry on top.

Needless to say my first trial experience was a success and I cannot wait for the next ones to come!

Thank you to @clover__studios & @pipiandpalm for these stunning images from the day
